Immediate opening: we are hiring a wall and floor tiler in Nottoway County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation The role involves: • Make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
