Stores assistant wanted in City of Portsmouth

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stores assistant in City of Portsmouth, Virginia. The job is in a cold-storage warehouse. You will scan barcodes to update stock levels on the WMS; load and unload lorries and containers by hand or with a pallet truck; keep aisles, racking and the yard clean and free of obstructions; wrap pallets with stretch film and apply shipping labels; replenish pick faces from bulk storage; assemble customer orders for dispatch and stage them at the loading bay. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to detail to avoid mis-picks • Good numeracy for stock counts and order checking On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off.
