Vacuum press operator wanted in Erie County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Erie County, New York. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
