Site dozer operator — Chautauqua County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a site dozer operator in Chautauqua County, Kansas. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. The role involves: • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil Ideal candidate: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
