Refrigeration and heat pump technician — North Lanarkshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and heat pump technician in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. You will be based on a domestic renovation retrofitting a heat pump. Day-to-day duties: • Commission the system and set flow temperatures and weather compensation curve • Braze copper refrigerant lines using oxy-acetylene or nitrogen purge • Fit condensate drainage from the outdoor unit • Wire the outdoor and indoor units back to the controller and isolator You should have: • Competent brazing copper pipework and pressure testing • F-Gas Category 1 certification or equivalent refrigerant handling cert • Willing to travel to domestic and small commercial sites 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
