We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Pennington County, South Dakota. On a typical shift you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours.
