Presser — Edgefield County

Now hiring: we are hiring a presser in Edgefield County, South Carolina. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases The role involves: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
