Furnace operator — Greene County

Join our team: we are hiring a furnace operator in Greene County, Ohio. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal The role involves check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
