Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in West Feliciana Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Your main tasks: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
