Stainless steel welder wanted in McKinley County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in McKinley County, New Mexico. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
