Great opportunity: we are hiring a counter butcher in Loudon County, Tennessee. You will be based at a halal meat counter. You should have: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
