Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. On a typical shift you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. Requirements: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Pay around £2,800 per month, based on your experience.
