Great opportunity: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in City of Staunton, Virginia. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. Day to day you will check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing. You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
