Health and safety supervisor wanted in Suffolk County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Suffolk County, New York. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
