Immediate opening: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in City of Chesapeake, Virginia. You will work at a busy lift company. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work On the job you will handle: • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
