Semi-automatic welder — Redcar and Cleveland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Redcar and Cleveland, England. You will work at an automobile body shop. Day to day you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Willing to work shifts and overtime 6+ years on the tools preferred. £15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
