Immediate opening: we are hiring a press setter operator in Perry County, Mississippi. What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg You will operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; record output and downtime on the production sheet; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor.
