Baker wanted in Ottawa County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a baker in Ottawa County, Ohio. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. What we are looking for: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Your main tasks: • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
