Aluminium TIG welder • Whitley County, Indiana

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Whitley County, Indiana. Day to day you will clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
