We are recruiting: lift mechanic (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Midland County, Michigan. You will be based at a busy lift company. On a typical shift you will fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
