Tyre bay technician — Scott County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Scott County, Kentucky. You will be based at a car service centre. The role involves: • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench Requirements: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer 6+ years on the tools preferred.
