Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Callahan County, Texas. The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
