LGV Class 1 driver wanted in Broome County

Now hiring: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Broome County, New York. The role involves: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Current Driver CPC qualification card Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
