Immediate opening: we are hiring a hotel front desk supervisor in East Dunbartonshire, Scotland. The job is in a resort or holiday hotel. Ideal candidate: • Previous front desk or guest-facing hospitality experience • Calm under pressure when the desk is busy or a guest is upset Your main tasks: • Verify ID and payment details against the booking record • Provide directions, local recommendations and tourist information • Monitor the PMS for overbookings and no-shows • Liaise with housekeeping on room status and turnaround times • Take card payments and process pre-authorisations at check-in • Run the night audit and close the day's accounts on the night shift Rotating shifts.
