Immediate opening: commis chef (Cross River State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commis chef in Obudu, Cross River State. You will be based in a hotel kitchen. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays • Familiar with North Indian, tandoor and continental cooking Your main tasks: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
