You should have: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves The role involves install toughened and laminated safety glass; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
