Lathe programmer-operator • Bosque County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Bosque County, Texas. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. What we are looking for: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Your main tasks: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
