Now hiring: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in Cumberland County, Maine. The job is on a new-build housing development. You should have: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts You will grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas.
