Ironing operator — La Crosse County

Join our team: we are hiring an ironing operator in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. You will work at a textile finishing unit. On the job you will handle: • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Give each garment a final press before packing Requirements: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Full-time with occasional weekends.
