Immediate opening: we are hiring a combi boiler installer in Botetourt County, Virginia. What we are looking for: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing The role involves: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant Part-time with flexible hours.
