Concrete placer — Wilson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Wilson County, Texas. You will be based in a residential housing project. You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods On the job you will handle: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $4,300 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
