Immediate opening: we are hiring a HGV driver in New Castle County, Delaware. The job is in a refrigerated transport fleet. Requirements: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel Day to day you will plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
