Vacancy available: natural gas fitter (North Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Henderson County, North Carolina. Day to day you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations 6+ years on the tools preferred.
