Join our team: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in City of Danville, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations Ideal candidate: • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Rotating shifts.
