Precision welder wanted in Conejos County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Conejos County, Colorado. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 4+ years on the tools preferred. $200 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
