Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Addison County, Vermont. You will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Rotating shifts.
