Now hiring: we are hiring a domestic appliance engineer in Blaenau Gwent, Wales. You will work at a domestic appliance repair workshop. You should have: • Own set of multimeters, hand tools and diagnostic equipment • Up to date with PAT testing and electrical safety regulations Your main tasks: • Test and replace heating elements, thermostats and thermal fuses • Reprogram and calibrate electronic control boards and displays • Recharge and evacuate refrigerant circuits on fridges and freezers using recovery equipment • Descale and clean condenser coils, filters and drainage systems • Lift and transport heavy appliances safely using trolleys and straps • Test appliances after repair to confirm safe operation 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
