Foundry operative — Lincoln County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry operative in Lincoln County, Missouri. On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
