Day-to-day duties: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Full-time with occasional weekends.
