Now hiring: residential solar installer (England)

Join our team: we are hiring a residential solar installer in Derbyshire, England. The job is on a residential rooftop. Day-to-day duties: • Mount racking rails and mounting brackets on roof trusses or ground-mount frames • Carry out continuity and insulation resistance tests on strings • Install string inverters, optimisers and rapid shutdown devices • Carry out periodic inspection and fault-finding on existing arrays • Lay out panel strings to match the shading and layout plan • Read PV layout drawings and single-line diagrams on site What we are looking for: • Driving licence for travel between installation sites • Working at height / roof access training (e.g. IPAF, PASMA) • Proven experience installing rooftop or ground-mount PV systems Performance bonus on top of base pay.
