Finish carpenter • St. Helens, England

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finish carpenter in St. Helens, England. You will work on a commercial fit-out site. Day to day you will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions. You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
