Domestic gas engineer • Funtua, Katsina State

Join our team: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Funtua, Katsina State. The job is at a busy gas installation company. The role involves set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings ₦10,000 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
