Great opportunity: we are hiring a plumbing and heating engineer (heat pumps) in Cheyenne County, Colorado. You will be based on a domestic renovation retrofitting a heat pump. Day-to-day duties: • Wire the outdoor and indoor units back to the controller and isolator • Fit and wire room thermostats, zone valves and smart controls • Connect the heat pump to underfloor heating manifolds or radiators • Hand over the system to the customer and explain the controls • Braze copper refrigerant lines using oxy-acetylene or nitrogen purge • Commission the system and set flow temperatures and weather compensation curve Ideal candidate: • G3 unvented cylinder qualification an advantage • Competent brazing copper pipework and pressure testing Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
