Vacancy available: system formwork carpenter (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Schoolcraft County, Michigan. You will be based on a residential tower site. Your main tasks: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
