Join our team: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Fountain County, Indiana. You will work at a busy iron foundry. The role involves: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
