Immediate opening: natural gas fitter (Colorado)

Join our team: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Lake County, Colorado. On a typical shift you will set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
