Conventional mill operator — Camden County

Join our team: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Camden County, North Carolina. The job is in a toolroom. Day to day you will set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
