Gantry crane operator — Oscoda County

What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Able to read load charts and lifting plans You will follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
