Urgent requirement: sheet metal welder (North Carolina)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Davidson County, North Carolina. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard You will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
