Floor and wall tile fitter wanted in City and Borough of Birmingham

Vacancy available: we are hiring a floor and wall tile fitter in City and Borough of Birmingham, England. You will be based in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. You will screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims. Requirements: • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
